Join fellow delegates for a drink or two at the Conference Welcome Reception. This event provides a great opportunity for delegates to network and get to know each other. All registered presenters and audience members are welcome to attend. Admission is included in the conference registration fee.

The official Conference Dinner is held in a private function room at a restaurant near the conference venue, and offers conference participants an excellent chance to enjoy delicious food in a relaxed setting while getting to know each other and making new connections outside the main conference environment. Guests must be aged 14 or over.
Free walking tours of the University of Barcelona, taking in the Historic Building and the Rare Book and Manuscript Library, will be held before and after the conference. These tours are open to all delegates and are free to attend.
The University of Barcelona dates back to 1450 CE, when it was founded under the royal prerogative of King Alonso V of Aragon. Visit the Historic Building, the University of Barcelona’s most emblematic site, which stands in the very centre of the city, and the CRAI Rare Book and Manuscript Library, which houses a collection ranking among the largest and most important in the whole of Spain. The tour will include a viewing of some of the illustrated manuscripts held by the library.

Access from conference venue: Take the no. 63 bus from Avinguda Diagonal (outside the conference venue) and get off at the final stop (Placa Universidad).
Up to 30 places are available on each tour.
